Group psychotherapy involves a group of 6-8 individuals who come together to explore a common issue or concern. These sessions are usually 1 hour and meet weekly.
ILTS currently offers the following groups:
This group is for individuals who are struggling with a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, family/relationship issues and addiction. It is ideal for individuals who are motivated for therapy and who are willing to discuss different aspects of themselves and areas of distress. Participants should be willing to share what is on their minds and will be encouraged to talk about the process of interacting with other group members in order to learn more about themselves.
This group provides women who are presented with daily life challenges a healthy environment to build resilience, confidence, sense of self and stronger relationships. This involves improving skills such as being assertive, exploring poor coping techniques, being diplomatic, coping with trauma, resolving conflict, and listening well.
